First and foremost, it really is quite unethical to tell someone they are going to die, or when!Īgain, time is not static, choices we make EVERY DAY cause effect on future events. Ok, maybe if you are dying and only have a few days or weeks to live you might actually ask this but for the other 99.9 percenters, no. Even if I COULD see that in the cards, I wouldn't tell you. Try to be patient, but firm, when you get one of these! To others, Tarot cards are simply a party trick, and they do not understand the significance of the cards, or the respect and reverence they deserve. When it comes to getting the listed questions, a large part of the problem however is that the majority of people don't really understand any of these issues if they are not card readers themselves. YES, there are a few cards that have a timing element built in, and YES you can use suits to determine timing, but as a general rule of thumb, time is fluid, and things change, so matters of timing are actually not well suited to Tarot. One major issue with each of these questions is that the Tarot is great for therapeutic purposes and even providing specific answers or meanings based on what cards you draw, but Tarot really isn't very well suited for Yes/No questions, or matters of timing. The seven questions below all violate the significant amount of respect I believe the Tarot deserves, either because they are frivolous, unethical or are really not possible to answer with any degree of certainty given other facts of the universe such as time and free will. In some ways, yes, it can be predictive, but in no way, is it trivial or just a toy. The Tarot, in all of its divine wonderfulness, is truly a tool for self-enlightenment, understanding, direction, healing, empowerment, and many other things. Personally, I wish I could say, "because I just don't do that", or "that's not what the Tarot is for". ![]() ![]() There are many reasons why we don't answer these questions. Truthfully, this list could have probably been expanded to many more questions, but these are enough to get us started! This is a bit of a roundup, a few are my own faves, but after posing this question to a group of fellow readers, a few other great ones popped up more than once! Well now, if you are reading cards for people for any length of time, sooner or later, the seven questions below will inevitably make their way across your table. But the battery issue alone is enough for me to stay away from it, let alone the other issues I’ve had repeatedly for as many years as this apps been available across 3+ networks, pc’s and iPhones shows this is not an isolated incident and never getting resolved.Ok admittedly, if you are reading this you are probably a tarot reader yourself, either new or experienced, but the title wouldn't be as catchy if it said "7 things you hate being asked". To be able to use my phone as temporary portable speakers for a computer I only have headphones plugged into was awesome, when the app worked. Overall I really wanted to like this app. Even if you somehow managed to get them to work (it glitched once when a call came in and got routed to my headset) the audio gets so distorted it’s unlistenable. ![]() ![]() Oh and don’t even think about using Bluetooth headphones with this app. Not only have I tried this on multiple networks over the years but I now have enterprise-level network gear and just built a new powerful computer and the app still can’t reliably handle a 100k/sec audio stream in real time without the ‘overrun’ and ‘underrun’ signals showing packet loss and the audio degrading into an inaudible mess. I always thought it was down to my bad WiFi setup in the past in combination with a failing computer. I’m also a little annoyed that it doesn’t use the built-in iOS audio engine so you can’t play/pause the stream from the lock screen or from the control center if you want to hear something else on your phone real quick.Īnd the last thing, I’m really annoyed at how unstable the stream is. As soon as I deleted the app that problem instantly vanished. Multiple pause/play, forced restarts or manual turn off and reboot, forced closing the app and turning off background play, nothing helps. My upgraded 2300mh battery tanks in half a day just sitting on my desk not streaming anything with the screen off and gets warm to the touch. After all that time I’ve come to finally delete it as it causes massive battery drain and heat buildup on my phone, even when paused and not streaming anything. Over the years I’ve used this app off and on with multiple iPhone models and multiple pc’s.
